I’m Cristina Paschina, 32 years old, and I’ve been working as a Software Developer at Rabobank for 4 months (previously 8 months as a Tester). My background is in Clinical Psychology.
As a Software Developer, I provide solutions for business needs within the Credit Core area by translating requirements into tailored IT services. As a Junior Developer, my tasks range from understanding project code and infrastructure to learning new technologies. In my first months, I focused on understanding the application and its different functions.
Collaborative!
What I appreciate most about Rabobank is its focus on employees: from attention to our experiences and career paths to our overall wellbeing. Rabobank is a flexible, people-centered workplace with many resources and support from colleagues. It’s a safe place to experiment, with open communication and strong connections fostered through networking events.
I am learning various tools and technologies, such as programming and query languages, Microsoft tools, and secure data management. I enjoy exploring the IT landscape, from strategic design to execution, and I appreciate the diversity of skills my project offers, including coding, API interaction, and infrastructure connectivity.
I love analytical thinking, problem-solving, and understanding complex processes from start to finish. I enjoy the collaborative spirit within agile IT teams and find motivation in creating processes that achieve the expected outcomes.
The IT environment teaches me to think analytically, structurally, and with attention to detail. I learn how processes fit within a larger system and how small parts affect the whole. Working in this complex environment helps me develop critical thinking and foresight skills, guided by experienced professionals.
Working at Rabobank has been a great experience so far, and I am excited to continue growing in this encouraging environment.
